Terms and Conditions

Welcome to the Kissed by Kate Jewellery Terms and Conditions. We handcraft
costume and sterling silver beaded jewellery.

Please read these conditions carefully before using our website as they
affect your rights and liabilities under the law. By using this website to
make a purchase, you agree to be bound by these terms and
conditions. Nothing in these Terms & Conditions affects your Statutory
Rights.

How to buy
All Kissed by Kate Jewellery items can be purchased securely and simply. Just
click the "add to cart" button alongside the item(s) you wish to purchase and
your shopping cart will be updated. When you are ready to complete your
purchase, there is a view cart button in the left margin. Follow the steps within
the shopping cart to go through to the checkout and complete your purchase.

Payment
Kissed by Kate Jewellery utilises a PayPal integrated shopping cart. PayPal
accepts all major credit and debit cards. Alternative payment options (cheque,
bank transfer etc.) are available on request. Please use the
Contact Us page with
"alternative payment" in the subject heading to request this. No items will be
dispatched until payments have been cleared.

Delivery
1st class Postage is free to UK addresses. For International postage costs, see
below. All purchases are sent via Royal Mail for items within the UK and Airmail
for the rest of the world.

The current International postage costs are as follows:
Europe: £1 per item
Rest of the World: £2 per item

These postage costs are incorporated into the cost of each item shown in the
drop-down boxes next to the "add to cart" button.

Non custom-made items are dispatched within 3 working days of cleared
payment.

Once ordered items have left our premises, delivery becomes the responsibility
of the Royal Mail (or International delivery company, if applicable). Kissed by
Kate Jewellery cannot be held responsible for late, delayed or non-delivery of
goods ordered and we will do all that we can to deal promptly and efficiently with
any delivery problems you may report to us so that ordered items are delivered
as quickly as possible.

Packaging
All items are packaged in a classy silver organza gift bag and tied neatly with a
coloured organza ribbon (at no extra cost). Items are sent securely in a padded
envelope.

Additional gift packaging options are available for a small charge
here.

Customised Jewellery
For custom-made orders, payment is required in advance (photographs of all
charms, beads or crystals will be sent to you beforehand, so that you can
confirm that you are happy prior to payment). Once payment has been received,
orders can take between three and four weeks to handcraft. You will be notified
ASAP if your order will take longer than the stated time. For information on

Mailing List
In purchasing items from Kissed by Kate Jewellery, you are agreeing to join our
email mailing list. You will periodically be sent news on new items and special
offers. You can
unsubscribe from the mailing list at any time.

Faulty Goods
You should notify us as soon as possible using the Contact Us page as to the
nature of the problem. We will try to rectify the situation immediately, subject to
stock availability, although in some cases we may require you to return the
incorrect item initially at your expense. We will of course refund you any return
carriage or postal charges upon receipt of the items. Returns should be made by
the cheapest method available, and proof of posting obtained. For faulty charm
bracelets, all charms must be returned. Do not send items back by Special
Delivery as we will not be responsible for refunding this additional cost to you.

Upon return of items found to be faulty, we can offer the following service:

i) To send you an identical replacement within one to two weeks of receipt of the
faulty goods to us.
ii) To offer a full refund for the price of the item paid by you, provided the goods
are not found to have been physically damaged by you in some way.

Cancellation and refunds (non-faulty goods)
You have the right to cancel any order (apart from custom-made bracelets and
gift vouchers) for any reason up to 7 working days after the day on which you
received the goods.

You must return the items to us at your own expense in an unused and
undamaged condition together with such documentation necessary to enable us
to identify you as the purchaser of the items within 30 days of the notice of
cancellation.

Until the items are received by us at our premises, you are responsible for any
loss or damage to such items.

You should obtain proof of posting of such items, in the event that the items
are not received by us at our premises.

Once we have received the items, we will refund the purchase price (less any
original carriage charges) immediately, or in any case within 30 days. Items
returned without the required documentation, or after 30 days of the notice of
cancellation, will be treated as abandoned to us, and will be dealt with
accordingly.

In accordance with the Distance Selling Regulations, (the following applies to all
mail order and E-Commerce contracts):

We accept the responsibility of incorrectly dispatched goods, (i.e. goods not
matching the specification displayed on the accompanying invoice) if notified to,
and agreed by, us within 7 working days of receipt of those goods.  We agree
to pay the return postage and dispatch charges of the correct goods.  We do
not accept any consequential loss to the customer during this period and offer
no compensation for such.

Unless otherwise agreed, we shall take the decision in the event of a shortfall of
goods, to decide whether to send out goods separately and at no extra charge
to the customer, or to hold onto the goods until the complete order is available
to send.

We cannot accept any returned goods found to fall into one or more of the
following categories:
i)  the goods are in some way physically damaged by the buyer.
ii)  the goods are found not to have been sold to the customer by us.

Disclaimer
All bracelets contain small beads, components and/or charms. Kissed by Kate
Jewellery cannot be held responsible for any harm incurred by the customer
caused by misuse of the product.

The use of this website, the purchase of any goods, and these Terms and
Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the
laws of England and any disputes will be decided only by English courts.
